Description
OsmAnd is a mapping app that is fully free software and allows for full offline operation. Those are both great things for privacy. It seems to be the only substantial Android app out there that provides both. I've audited the location sharing and receiving in OsmAnd, and contributed relevant fixes with these two pull requests:

I'm going to close this issue since the core of this work was accepted, and all the core network functionality supports going over the proxy (not all of the plugins use Tor though).
